Hello

These are my pictures of my fish from scotland pond the biggest one at 20lb. There are some stunners in there

from Mason aged 13

Certainly are! - you didn’t say where you caught these but  some look like Scotland Pond to me - editor

Hello I thought I would send you a picture of a bream i caught this season down peg1. It weighed in at 5 pound 6 ozs.
Many thanks,
James Hedges

A nice fish and a real reminder that there’s more than just carp in the lakes!                 editor

Text Box: Here is a picture of my 15lb mirror caught on the 24/5/2009.
I caught it on Scotland at around 9am I was fishing for silver fish with
my pole as I’ve only fished with it twice before and not too clever with it. I was fishing double maggot on a 6 elastic 4lb mainline,2lb hook link.
but hooked into this which took me 35 minutes to land - Luke Morgan
Not surprised you took 35 mins! You did well to land it - Editor

Please find attached some pictures of recent catches from Castle Ashby lakes.

The 15lb common was caught on Easter Monday from Scotland Pond, in the afternoon, from peg 31 between the islands from a cast tight to the left hand island fishing fake corn/real corn combo.

The 26lb common also caught on Easter Monday from Scotland Pond, from peg 31 between the islands, from a cast in the middle of the channel between the islands. again to a fake corn real corn combo. Sorry the pictures not to great, there was no one near by to take a better picture, but at least it shows the quality of fishing there. A new personal best and the best fish of haul of 6 to a total weight of 80lb, all falling to fake real corn combo.

The 17lb Mirror was caught from Grendon Pond peg 18 on Saturday 3rd April 2010, and fell to balance pineapple pop up fished at range.

I hope these can be included in your gallery, and thanks to the all the team at Castle Ashby for their advice and encouragement over the last few years.

Good luck to all who fish there

A very happy Adrian Hewitt

hi ron
this
26lb common came out on an evening session at about 7.30pm
fishing at mid stream on peg 3. artificial sweetcorn over a 15mm source boilie with 6 freebie boilies in pva did the trick.
a 4" hair rig to a running lead with 18" sink tube and flying backlead was my set up
i hope this info will be of use to others carping at castle ashby
thanks

a 17lber followed this one out from the same spot within 1/2hr. sorry no pictures as the batteries in the camera gave up.
